About
The Berkshire Kings and Queens Basketball Club is a community-driven club based in Maidenhead, Ascot and Windsor, offering coaching and competition opportunities for kids, youth, and adults. With teams competing in local basketball leagues, including the CVL and Wessex Basketball Leagues, the club provides a welcoming pathway for all ages and abilities to develop their skills and enjoy the game. Training sessions are held twice a week for each team across three venues: Furze Platt Leisure Centre in Maidenhead, Windsor Boys’ School, and Heathfield School in Ascot. Younger players take part in fun and engaging sessions focused on core skills such as shooting, passing, and dribbling, while youth and adult players progress into more advanced training, including tactical drills and strategic plays to prepare for league competition. Beyond regular training, the club runs exciting events for members. Coming up this summer will be a Summer League and 3x3 tournament, giving players even more opportunities to compete and connect. Training runs throughout the year, so whether you’re picking up a basketball for the first time or looking to push your game to the next level, come along and get involved.
